Kap Rate Living
I'm a Cuban-born, bilingual English-Spanish real estate advisor, U.S. Navy veteran, mom, mentor, animal lover, and someone who believes the best work starts with trust, service, and real connection.
I was born in Cuba and came to the United States as a child. I grew up in Hialeah, in the Miami area, surrounded by family, culture, and community.
Those early years shaped a lot of who I am today. They taught me resilience, connection, and the importance of staying close to the people and places that matter.
Before real estate was ever part of my life, I was already building a story around family, service, and helping others.
Years in Healthcare
Heart attack and stroke teams — high-stakes, high-care, high-trust.
After attending the University of Miami, I joined the U.S. Navy in my early twenties. That chapter taught me discipline, leadership, resilience, and the value of showing up for something bigger than yourself.
Later, I moved to Portland, Oregon, where I raised my two children and spent more than 20 years working in healthcare, specializing on heart attack and stroke teams.
That work taught me how to stay calm under pressure, listen closely, and support people during some of the most vulnerable moments of their lives.

While raising my kids in Oregon, I became deeply involved in my community. I coached soccer for about eight years, volunteered in schools, served on local boards, and stayed connected to the people around me.
I have always been someone who loves people, loves community, and believes relationships are built by showing up consistently.
I'm also a proud mom of two amazing adult kids, and they are one of the greatest parts of my life.

Outside of work, I'm social, energetic, and happiest when I'm around people. I love sports — especially soccer — along with football, basketball, golf, and just about anything competitive.
I've always had a passion for salsa dancing, I love traveling, being out in the sun, cocktails with friends, and spending time near the ocean. The ocean is my favorite place in the world.
I'm also an animal lover and dog mom to Lucy, my 16-year-old mini schnauzer.
“Mentorship is one of my favorite ways to serve — helping other agents grow, gain confidence, and better care for their clients.”
Mentoring is one of the things I love most. I genuinely enjoy teaching, guiding, and helping other agents grow with more confidence.
For me, mentorship is about sharing real experience — from contracts and listings to negotiations, client care, divorce-related situations, and the details that help agents better protect and serve their clients.
I'm also deeply invested in building our local Realtor community. I created the Wesley Chapel caravans to connect local agents, strengthen relationships, and help promote listings in our market. The Facebook group has grown to nearly 700 agents, and our monthly events regularly bring together 20–30 people. I also partner with industry professionals to bring education, value, and support to agents in our area.
Teaching comes naturally to me because so much of my life has been built around service, patience, and helping people through important moments.
Real estate became part of my story after I worked as a transaction coordinator for a large team in Portland. I was handling paperwork, contracts, showings, and behind-the-scenes details — and eventually realized I was already doing so much of the work, so I got licensed.
Today, I especially enjoy working with sellers, but I also love helping buyers, veterans, relocating families, investors, luxury clients, seniors, and people navigating divorce-related real estate situations.
For buyers, I start with an in-depth consultation to understand your goals, lifestyle, timeline, budget, and specific situation. I help connect you with trusted lender partners and loan programs that fit your needs. Before we write an offer, I research each home carefully so you can make an informed decision. I also attend inspections and appraisals — on both the buyer and seller side — because being present matters.
Where I Serve
Who I Work With
I do not believe in simply putting a home on the MLS and waiting. My listing style is research-driven, marketing-heavy, and very intentional.
For every home, I dig into the property, the neighborhood, the comps, the audience, and the details that make it different. I look for the story behind the home and the value that makes it stand out.
Whenever possible, I attend showings for my listings. Every home is unique, and there are specific features and upgrades that cannot always be fully captured in an MLS description. I research and learn everything about each home I list so I can show it in its best light. I know the home better than the buyer's agent — and that lets me highlight value more confidently, build rapport with agents and buyers, and negotiate more aggressively on your behalf.
I market through social media, relocation groups, investor audiences, vacation-home buyer networks, and international buyer connections through my RSPS designation. I also believe in being honest with sellers about pricing — the market tells us a lot, and I pay close attention to activity, feedback, and competing listings.
This level of service reflects the value I bring to every listing.
“Every home has something unique to offer. My job is to know it, highlight it, and make sure the right people see it.”
